Having no buyers in the 2024 NBA Draft, Trentyn Flowers was fortunate to land a two-way contract with the Clippers. Deciding to test international waters initially, the 6-foot-9 forward played a season for the Adelaide 36ers in the NBL.

Flowers is nursing a left-hand injury and has spent quality time getting to know his teammates. Nonetheless, the row vets have different ways of bonding, especially regarding rookies, something the former Sierra Canyon player learned the hard way.

Recently, a clip surfaced on social media showing Flowers jumping into the pool wearing all his clothes. While we are still trying to find the culprits behind this, the senior players on the team did not stop at this, ensuring the rookie completed a lap of swimming.

Witness Trentyn Flowers get his rookie welcome

In the past, we’ve heard several instances of senior players trying to break the ice with rookies by indulging in pranks and other intimidation tactics. 19-year-old Flowers was the recipient of a similar situation.

In what seemed the Clippers rookie earned some moolah for his water tunt, with the following picture of him doing the rounds, having a caption saying, ‘Money good.’ Hopefully, the bundle of cash was worth the former 36ers forward’s uncanny swim session.

    Scouting report - Trentyn Flowers

Playing a season for Adelaide in the NBL, Flowers averaged 5.2 PPG and 2.9 RPG on 46% shooting from the field at close to 13 MPG.

Some of the key takeaways from the wingman’s game are his explosive athleticism, impressive shooting stroke, and ability to attack the rim and defend simultaneously.
