Angel Reese's Injury Post Is Turning Heads

On Wednesday, Angel Reese announced that her hand cast has finally been removed. Sure enough, the Chicago Sky rookie celebrated the occasion, although for a rather different reason.

In her post on social media to share the development, Reese expressed her relief that her "hiding my brace with my bags era is OFFICIALLY OVER." For those unaware, ever since her left hand surgery that required her to wear a cast, Reese had been trying to hide it whenever she took photos.

Reese herself admitted it , noting in a previous post on X (formerly Twitter) "that hiding my hand with a chanel is my new thing."

Fans couldn't help but react to Angel Reese's reason for celebrating the progress in her injury recovery, with many simply being supportive and others finding it really funny.

"To all chanel’s and birkin’s thank you for your service!" a fan commented. Another one said, "I know your wrist hated to see that Chanel bag coming..... Freedom."

"Gonna miss this era for sure," a social media added while sharing photos of Reese hiding her cast using her bag.

A surprised follower noted, "Oh so you was really doing that on purpose."

"Cause baby you was hiding tf outta that hand brace lmaooooo but at least the bags was cute every time!!" a supporter added.

For what it's worth, Reese might still be required to wear a cast in the next couple of weeks. Prior to her surgery to fix her left wrist fracture, the Sky star explained that she would be in a hard cast for four weeks and in a soft cast for another two.

At least Reese is progressing in the right direction. Clearly, she couldn't be any happier that she's really close to getting back to her normal routine.
