According to ESPN PR , the matchup was the most-viewed "Monday Night Football" game in over 50 contests and ranked as the fourth most-watched Monday night game in over 130 matchups. It was also the most-watched edition of the show so far in 2024, averaging 1.4 million viewers for the Saints-Chiefs clash.

Star tight end Travis Kelce had his best game yet, hauling in nine receptions for 70 yards, despite the Chiefs facing injuries with Isiah Pacheco and wide receiver Rashee Rice both out indefinitely.

On the other hand, the Saints struggled in all facets, losing quarterback Derek Carr to a reported oblique injury that is expected to sideline him for a few weeks.
