Sai’vion Jones says ‘we are out for revenge’ against this team

LSU’s Sai’vion Jones spoke to the media about preparing to play Jaxson Dart and Ole Miss.

How do you feel about a home game at night against Ole Miss?

Sai’vion: I’m definitely excited. I'm sure all the fans know that we are out for revenge. You know what happened to us last year, how they stormed the field and stuff like that so I feel like not only the players but the fans are excited to have that rematch.

What do you see in Jackson Dart as a quarterback and his ability to run?

Sai’vion: You know, he's not an every down runner but he is the guy that they'll call designed runs for. He’s definitely a person that we can't take lightly. He can run whenever when he wants to so that's something we can't take for granted. We can't just do passive rushes and keep him in the cage.

You guys are obviously very familiar with Jaxson Dart but what else do you see from Ole Miss on film?

Sai’vion: The main thing that comes to me is just their ability to get back on the ball and snap the ball again. One of the main things we've been working on is just being able to find our spots and get to that spot. Get the call as fast as we can and line up.
