The New York Knicks don't begin their regular season for another two weeks.

Through the first two games of the preseason, it looks like the entire roster is ready for the season to end two weeks ahead of time.

Led by 48 combined points from Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, the Knicks dominated the lowly Washington Wizards at home by a 117-94 final score.

New York used a 35-17 second-quarter stretch to jump ahead in the contest thanks to the top play from Towns and Brunson. The former Minnesota Timberwolf struggled from the field but ended with 25 points and 12 rebounds in the win.

The Knicks also combined for 29 points off the bench from Cameron Payne and second-round rookie Tyler Kolek.

One notable absence from New York was Miles McBride. The young guard is dealing with an illness and kept him off the court for the team's preseason contest.

New York also had a positive turnover differential with forcing 16 off the Wizards while only turning the ball over nine times. Alex Sarr led Washington with 14 points, but the Knicks were able to keep their opposing starting lineup inefficient.

At 2-0, the Knicks have played well to this point in the preseason.
