Kirk Herbstreit and the ESPN "College GameDay" crew are headed to Eugene, Oregon in Week 7 to preview a matchup between the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes and No. 3 Oregon Ducks.

Before Week 7 kicked off, Herbstreit mentioned that his time on the panel would be limited. While Herbstreit works as an analyst for "College GameDay," he also provides color commentary on ESPN.

Hersbstreit will be on the call for the "Red River Rivalry" between the No. 1 Texas Longhorns and No. 18 Oklahoma Sooners. He will be in the booth with play-by-play commentator Chris Fowler, while Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge will have sideline reporting duties.

Given the lengthy trip from Eugene to the Cotton Bowl, a neutral site stadium in Dallas, Herbstreit will be leaving "College GameDay" about an hour early.

“Ironically, Chris [Fowler], I’m leaving GameDay like an hour early, in the middle of the show," Herbstreit said. "I’m going to have to make it, because our OU-Texas game starts at 3:30. So I’m going to leave GameDay and hopefully make it.”

The ESPN "College GameDay" crew has been all over the country during the 2024-25 season. They've taken their usual trip to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for a prime time game against the Georgia Bulldogs.

They've also traveled out west to California for a matchup between the California Golden Bears and Miami Hurricanes.

The full "College GameDay" schedule from the 2024-25 season is listed below.

Week 0: Florida State Seminoles vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (Dublin, Ireland)

Week 1: No. 20 Texas A&M Aggies vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (College Station, Texas)

Week 2: No. 3 Texas Longhorns vs. No. 10 Michigan Wolverines (Ann Arbor, Michigan)

Week 3: No. 16 LSU Tigers vs. South Carolina Gamecocks (Columbia, South Carolina)

Week 4: No. 6 Tennessee Volunteers vs. No. 15 Oklahoma Sooners (Norman, Oklahoma)

Week 5: No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs vs. No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide (Tuscaloosa, Alabama)

Week 6: No. 8 Miami Hurricanes vs. California Golden Bears (Berkeley, California)

Week 7: No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes vs. No. 3 Oregon Ducks (Eugene, Oregon)

While Herbstreit will be previewing No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Oregon and will be in attendance for the "Red River Rivalry" between No. 1 Texas and No. 18 Oklahoma, there are still a ton of incredible matchups to watch in Week 7, outside of those two games.

The South Carolina Gamecocks will be visiting Alabama for an SEC matchup. No. 4 Penn State will head west to take on the USC Trojans.

Meanwhile, No. 9 Ole Miss is set for another SEC duel against No. 13 LSU, and No. 18 Kansas State will go head-to-head against the Colorado Buffaloes.
