Twins prospects to watch in the Arizona Fall League

The Arizona Fall League is officially underway, giving roughly 250 prospects from across the minors a chance to show they’re ready to take the next step.

The six-week event generally features a mix of some of the top prospects in baseball and several under-the-radar guys, and that holds true for the group of Minnesota Twins prospects competing in this year’s showcase.

Minnesota has two of its top-30 prospects, per MLB Pipeline, competing in the Arizona Fall League — right fielder Kala’i Rosario (No. 19), shortstop Danny De Andrade (No. 21) — and utility man Ben Ross was the team’s No. 26 prospect before falling out of the top-30 in late-season re-rankings.

Pitching-wise, the Twins have Kade Bragg, Devin Kirby, Jack Noble, Jacob King and Liam Rocha playing in the fall circuit. Bragg was a 17th-round pick in 2023 while the others were all undrafted free agent signings over the past couple of years. Noble’s name may be familiar to some Twins fans because he tossed an immaculate inning in August .

The eight Twins prospects are playing for the Salt River Rafters.

Games started earlier this week, and Rosario currently has the team’s lone home run; Ross, who is looking like another possible Willi Castro — he’s played every position in the minors except catcher and pitcher while showing double-digit home run and base-stealing ability — was named a Twins sleeper prospect to watch in the Arizona Fall League by MLB Pipeline ; and De Andrade, one of the top international signings in 2021, is still just 20 and was hurt for much of the 2024 season but made it up to High-A Cedar Rapids.

The Arizona Fall League runs through Nov. 14 with a short playoff and championship game that weekend.
