Bills' Injuries Mounting Ahead Of AFC East Clash Monday Night

The Buffalo Bills are not healthy going into their important Week 6 clash with the New York Jets.

The winner on Monday Night Football would move into sole possession of first place with over a game on hand of any other team in the division.

New York's current struggles stem from their coaching staff. They have fired head coach Robert Saleh and have also replaced their offensive play-caller with Nathaniel Hackett.

The Bills, on the other hand, have their own problems to worry about when it comes to the health of their roster.

Buffalo has multiple players missing practice over the last few days including the likes of James Cook (foot), Khalil Shakir (ankle), and Ed Oliver (hamstring). In total, four starters did not participate in Wednesday's practice and several others including All-Pro cornerback Taron Johnson were limited with injuries.

Injuries are a part of the game, and it is unlikely that all of Buffalo's players on the injury report will miss such a big game as Monday's in New York.

That being said, the fact that so many players are banged up does not help the team's current struggles as a roster that has dropped their last two games after a 3-0 start.

In many ways, the injuries mounting ahead of an AFC East clash could very well decide the division going forward.
