It is not outlandish to say that Jalen Hurts gave forth the most important press conference answer of his young career.

The franchise quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles has made headlines before of what he hasn't exactly said when it came to head coach Nick Sirianni.

Reports of a broken relationship only grew throughout Philadelphia's 2-2 start with their offense struggling to find their footing. Coming after the bye week, though, the Birds are back on the practice field, and Hurts has a new perspective regarding his head coach.

Speaking to reporters about what he worked on during the bye week, the quarterback spoke glowingly about his head coach and the relationship they have seemingly repaired.

"We are the two leaders of the team," Hurts said. "I’m happy and fortunate that we were able to come together in harmony and have the same goal in mind and try to get this thing right. I got a ton of confidence in him.

"A ton of confidence in what he brings. Everything he has been able to accomplish…Everybody goes through different moments. Everybody experiences adversity. We’ve experienced different moments of adversity together. We are excited for what’s to come”

Should Hurts and Sirianni get on the same page, it is a huge step forward for the Eagles moving forward throughout the 2024 season. That kind of stability was missing from last year, and it seems to be changing again.

    This time for the better.
