College football analyst David Pollack went live on X on Thursday and discussed a number of different topics.

Pollack went into detail about a number of programs, one being the BYU Cougars, who he called the " story of college football " this season.

There are some key games this weekend, including Ole Miss-LSU, Texas-Oklahoma and Kansas State-Colorado.

Of course, the biggest of them all is a battle of top-three Big Ten teams with Ohio State going to Eugene to face Oregon.

Pollack also spoke very highly of the Ohio State Buckeyes, albeit in a unique way, by calling them "dirty."

"They're dirty,” Pollack said. “I think the Chip Kelly addition is so huge.”

Usually, dirty is not a good term, but here Pollack uses it in a good way.

In the offseason, Kelly surprisingly stepped down as UCLA head coach and came to Columbus to take the offensive coordinator job under head coach Ryan Day.

Kelly was a premier play-caller back in his days with Oregon and during his time in the NFL, but his head coaching stint at UCLA did not go as planned.

In 2024, Ohio State ranks fourth in points per game (46.0), 24th in rushing yards, 30th in passing yards and 10th in total yards per game.

Ohio State is also 12th in third-down efficiency, and the Kelly-led offense has been a problem for opposing teams.

Bringing in transfers such as Will Howard from Kansas State and Quinshon Judkins from Ole Mis has definitely helped. Freshman star Jeremiah Smith has lived up to expectations and leads Ohio State in receiving yards and touchdowns, even ahead of NFL draft prospect Emeka Egbuka.

All in all, Ohio State has scored 35 or more points in every game this year, including three games with 49 or more points.

Week 7 will be the biggest test yet, and arguably the biggest one of the entire season as they face the Ducks at Autzen Stadium.
