Saturday in college football is packed with must-watch games, but the highlight of the day is the 7:30 p.m. ET showdown in Eugene, Oregon, where the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes will face the No. 3 Oregon Ducks in Autzen Stadium.

Both teams remain unbeaten, marking their first matchup since Oregon joined the Big Ten conference. ESPN's " College GameDay " will broadcast its Week 7 edition of the show from the Oregon Ducks campus, and analyst Kirk Herbstreit had high praise for the university entering Saturday.

Herbstreit has traveled the country for "College GameDay," visiting countless campuses and witnessing some of the most electrifying games and passionate crowds. However, he believes Oregon truly stands out from the rest.

"We come all over the country, we get asked all the time, 'Where's your favorite to take College GameDay?' Herbstreit said. "I say every time, Eugene, Oregon."

Kirk Herbstreit's endorsement is a testament to the impact of "College GameDay," which is on track for its best season yet, thanks to the addition of Nick Saban and the return of fan-favorite Pat McAfee.

The show is anchored by Rece Davis and also features Herbstreit, former Heisman winner Desmond Howard , and the legendary Lee Corso , who remains a beloved figure at 89 years old and is currently 5-0 on headgear picks this season.

Saturday night in Eugene promises to deliver an electric atmosphere as this marks the first top-3 matchup broadcast by NBC since the 1993 season which was between Florida State and Notre Dame, a showdown in which many call the "Game of the Century."

This means that both the Buckeyes and the Ducks have a lot to live up to on Saturday night as they clash in one of the most highly anticipated matchups of the entire season.

"College GameDay" is set to kick off at 9 a.m. ET, but for the local Oregon audience, that means an early start at 6 a.m. The enthusiasm is sure to match that of last week’s crowd in California, with fans eager to support their team regardless of the early hour.

Oregon big the buckeyes have never played in a stadium as loud as autzen. Also Oregon has a way way better coach QB,Wr,s and TE's the Ohio State does and that's just on offense probably a push on OL and RB's and that just on Offense. Oregon 48 Ohio State 24
