Conference realignment has taken effect and has shaken up the world of college football this season. This weekend alone, new-look conference matchups are going to provide an entertaining Saturday slate of games.

While Oklahoma and Texas squaring off against each other was already one of the nation's best rivalries, adding an SEC logo on the field and on the jerseys adds another layer to a deeply rooted Red River Rivalry.

For the Big Ten, a couple of newcomers are taking on previous conference powerhouses. USC, who is on a two-game skid, is taking on Penn State in a battle that will prove how dominant the Nittany Lions can be.

On the other hand, the conference is providing a top-three-ranked matchup. No. 2 Ohio State is heading west to take on No. 3 Oregon.

The game is in Autzen Stadium in Eugene, OR, as the elite atmosphere will come to fruition of what will end up being a top matchup of the season. The winner will position themselves very well as it pertains to the Big Ten standings and table.

ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) made its prediction ahead of the highly-touted matchup. According to ESPN's FPI, Ohio State has a 64.1 percent chance of winning the game, with Oregon having a 35.9 percent chance to come away victorious.

This is quite shocking, as Oregon is the home team with one of the best squads in the nation. While the program had a few troubling moments early in the season, both squads have remained a perfect 5-0 heading into Week 7.

Both being led by transfer quarterbacks who played in the Big 12 a season ago, this game could come down the signal-callers' supporting casts and defenses.

Oregon is hosting the No. 2 team in the nation and ESPN's College GameDay -- the premier show for college football -- in what will be an electric day in Eugene.

Both teams have many talented players and good coaches. Oregon is at home. Could go either way.
