Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Go Viral After Bye Week Plans Revealed

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are currently enjoying their bye week, which has been well earned after their blazing hot start to the 2024 campaign that has seen them win each of their first five games.

After a slow start to the season in which he only hauled in eight catches for 69 yards, Kelce has turned things up a notch over the past two games, reeling in 16 receptions for 159 yards during that stretch.

After the Chiefs beat the New Orleans Saints in Week 5, Kelce was hopped on a plane with his girlfriend Taylor Swift, with the assumption being they would spend his week off together. Instead, Kelce has been working on filming "Happy Gilmore 2", as a photo of him on the set for the movie surfaced and quickly took the internet by storm.

While Kelce is widely known for his football career and his relationship with Swift, he's also begun to dabble in acting, as he recently appeared in the TV show "Grotesquerie," in addition to getting cast in Adam Sandler's "Happy Gilmore" sequel.

Kelce's role in the movie is not known yet, but earning a spot in a fairly high profile film alongside Sandler should help him refine his acting skills, and potentially land more gigs as an actor in the future.

It's unknown whether Swift is with Kelce as he shoots his scenes for this movie, but given how they left the Chiefs game together, it's fair to assume they spent some time together before the star tight end turned his attention towards this new project of his.

Kelce will have to work fast to get his work on "Happy Gilmore 2" done quickly, because the Chiefs will be turning their attention towards their upcoming Super Bowl rematch with the San Francisco 49ers when they return to action in Week 7.
