The Dallas Mavericks are still winless through two games in the preseason after losing to the Utah Jazz at home last Thursday, 107-102. However, their 0-2 record shouldn't define Dallas, which is a much stronger team than what that record suggests. But one takeaway people have made from that Jazz game centered on one particular player not a lot of people knew before.

Undrafted Mavericks rookie Jamarion Sharp grabbed fans' attention just with his presence on the floor alone, as his towering height made everyone around him seem puny. Sharp's profile on the NBA's website lists his height at 7'5". That means he's taller than San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama by two inches.

"bro spawned outta nowhere," social media personality kanetrujillo commented on Bleacher Report's video showing clips of Sharp just dominating the Jazz on both ends of the floor.

"DamnnnnnšŸ˜³šŸ˜³šŸ˜³šŸ˜³šŸ˜³," lethalshooter AKA Chris Matthews said.

"The Wemby build gonna be standard one day," another one chimed in.

"WHY IS THIS MY FIRST TIME HEARING ABOUT HIM????" a stunned IG user shared.

"So now Luka get to throw him and lively and gafford lobs?" wondered another.

"Wemby has 24 hours to respond," a fan posted.

Against the Jazz, Sharp provided quality minutes for the Mavs, as he finished with six points on 2-for-3 shooting from the floor to go with five rebounds. Even more telling of his potential in the big leagues was his total of five blocks. He did all that in just 12 minutes of action off the bench.

Sharp played three college basketball seasons, spending his first two with the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers before finishing with the Ole Miss Rebels. He averaged 6.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.7 blocks across 95 games played for the Hilltoppers and the Rebels.
