Alabama Opens Up As Early Favorite Against Tennessee

Interesting news hit social media on Friday afternoon about next weekend's matchups regarding who is opening up as favorites and underdogs in those matchups.

After Alabama concludes its home game against South Carolina on Saturday, it will begin preparing for another Top 10 matchup against Tennessee at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.

On3 is reporting that according to FanDuel Sportsbook has released odds for this matchup, and Alabama currently leads as a -2.5 point favorite against the Volunteers.

This news is receiving mixed reactions from fans and experts on social media, as many question the truthfulness of these odds due to Alabama losing to Vanderbilt on the road and were ranked as the No. 1 team in the country at that time.

Tennessee, however, also fell to unranked Arkansas that same weekend, which would drop them in the following weeks AP Poll as well.

Both teams have opportunities to regain momentum this weekend as the conference schedule is beginning to heat up. Tennessee will be hosting their rival Florida at 6:00 p.m. CT, while Alabama will host South Carolina at 11:00 a.m. CT.
