Saturday's slate of games is arguably the biggest week of the college football season, as there are multiple marquee matchups to watch. However, "College GameDay" chose to appear in Eugene, OR, to feature the contest between the No. 3 ranked Oregon Ducks vs. the No. 2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes.

It's a huge matchup for both programs, as it's not every day we get a regular season game between two teams ranked within the Top 3. Additionally, we should expect fireworks in the field, as well as in the stadium, as the Oregon students have been electric on the "College GameDay" set.

Pat McAfee got the crowd hyped early by kicking off the Ducks' post-third quarter song, "Shout." Oregon plays the version in the 1978 comedy film Animal House , as it was filmed on the Oregon campus.

Soon after Oregon students sang along with McAfee, the Ducks' mascot jumped into the mix, and crowd surfed with the fans . The famed mascot, Puddles, also showed off a new suit as well.

Ducks fans are lively on Saturday morning despite "College GameDay" kicking off at 6 A.M. Pacific. With the football program ranked as a Top 3 team in the country, Oregon hopes this energy transpires on the field at kickoff.

Ultimately, this is a huge game for Oregon, as this is the biggest game of the season. Although the team got off to a slow start to begin the season, they've looked fantastic in the last three games.

The Ducks offense is led by quarterback Dillon Gabriel who transferred from Oklahoma during the offseason. He's been solid throughout the season.

The 23-year-old quarterback has already thrown for 1,449 yards, 11 touchdowns, and three interceptions. He's also throwing for a wildly high 77.8 completion percentage, making hime one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the nation.

As for Ohio State, the Buckeyes have multiple weapons on the offensive end with true freshman wide receiver, Jeremiah Smith stealing the spotlight. The 18-year-old wide receiver has accumulated 453 receiving and seven total touchdowns to begin his collegiate career.
