The Pittsburgh Steelers are in Nevada for their Week 6 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, hoping to turn the tide after a promising 3-0 start followed by two consecutive losses.

The offense , led by quarterback Justin Fields in place of the injured Russell Wilson, has seen a dip in production, with Fields dropping to No. 21 on the NFL QB Index after peaking at No. 20 earlier in the season.

With Wilson back at full practice, some are wondering if a change under center could be on the horizon, though coach Mike Tomlin has confirmed Wilson will serve as the backup for now.

To bolster their roster, the Steelers have made several moves ahead of the Raiders game. The team promoted linebacker Ade Ogundeji to the active roster from the practice squad and elevated linebacker Eku Leota and running back Jonathan Ward to the active/inactive roster. Defensive end DeMarvin Leal has been placed on the Reserve/Injured List, leaving room for new contributors to step up.

Ogundeji, originally drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, brings experience to the table. He started 11 games in his rookie season and 16 in 2022 before missing 2023 due to a foot injury. Now healthy, Ogundeji is eager to make an impact.

"I'm just trying to go out there and do my job," Ogundeji shared . " They expect me to go out there and do my job, just like the guy above me. I'm not going to try to do anything that's crazy. I'm just going to do my job.”

With the Steelers needing a spark to end their losing streak, Ogundeji sees his return as a prime opportunity.

"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," he added. "Whenever I go out there, I'm going to bring it and do my best to make sure we win."
