ESPN’s “College GameDay” thrives on the passion and energy the fans bring every Saturday. The atmosphere fuels the crew, which was exactly what happened during Saturday morning’s broadcast in Eugene, Oregon.

Eugene is the site for a massive Week 7 showdown between the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes and the No. 3 Oregon Ducks. Both teams come in undefeated with a chance to add a huge resume booster.

Fans behind the "College GameDay" set always bring signs to express themselves, but one fan, in particular, brought an unexpected surprise this Saturday.

When hosts Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit noticed, their reactions said it all.

One Oregon fan stood in the crowd with a real-life llama. The man and the llama stood face to face as the broadcast zoomed in on them.

McAfee referenced the book, "Caesar the No Drama Llama," written by Bee Dugan.

"That's Caesar, the no-drama llama," McAfee stated. "It's a great relationship. I'm telling you."

"Oh my God, look at this," Herbstreit said.

Viewers watching the show were in complete disbelief, and some of them took to social media to share their immediate reactions.

"A llama," one fan said. "There is a llama."

    "Bro 😭😭😭," another added.

"The relationship with that man and that llama, needs to be probed… Looks fishy to me," another stated.

"If this isn't the most Eugene thing ever..." added a fan.

"This is uhhh... yea I don't want to know anymore about this. Let's just end this story here," another said.

"Next level fans 😂🦙," said a fan.

"HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!? 😂😂😂," said another.

Oregon fans, no doubt, showed up on Saturday. They were there bright and early for the show's start, which began at 6 a.m. PT.

Ohio State and Oregon will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

I saw it, I thought that llama was precious, the man....not so much. Thank you for bringing him. P.S. The live duck was cute, too.
