Deion Sanders Sends Strong Five-Word Message to Nick Saban's Wife

The ESPN "College GameDay" crew, including Rece Davis, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and Desmond Howard were previewing the Week 7 slate in Eugene Oregon.

After detailing some of the key points of the game for No. 2 Ohio State at No. 3 Oregon, the panel welcomed Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders for a casual interview.

Sanders and the Buffaloes will take on No. 18 Kansas State in a massive Big 12 matchup. Both teams head into the game with a 4-1 record.

While Sanders gave the crew some details about the game, he made sure to call out Saban, who picked against the Buffaloes when CU faced off against the UCF Knights just a few weeks ago.

In Week 5, Saban and the "College GameDay" show was in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, covering a Top 5 matchup between the Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs. While revealing their predictions during the Week 5 show, Saban picked against the Buffaloes.

He chose the UCF Knights to defeat Colorado, but the celebrity guest picker on the panel, Nick Saban's wife, Miss Terry, didn't agree with Nick Saban. She chose the Buffaloes and made sure to look at the camera to send Sanders a short message.

"I got your back," Ms. Terry said.

A few weeks later, when Sanders joined "College GameDay," he thanked Miss Terry for her support.

"I love you, Miss Terry," Sanders said.

The Buffaloes ultimately defeated UCF 48-21 in the Week 5 contest.

The Buffaloes are 4-1 on the season, matching their win total from 2023. Last season, Colorado ended the year with a 4-8 record. Their only loss this season came in the hands of the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

In 2024, Colorado has taken down North Dakota State, Colorado State, Baylor and UCF, currently riding a three-game win streak.

Much of the Buffaloes' success has come from Deion Sanders' son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter.

Shedeur Sanders is playing in his fourth season of college football. So far this season, he's produced 14 touchdowns and 1,630 yards, with a 70.1 completion percentage.

Hunter, who's considered a Heisman trophy contender, has recorded six touchdowns on 46 receptions and 561 yards on offense, while leading the team with two interceptions on defense.
