"College GameDay" was absolutely electric, as Oregon Ducks fans brought the energy throughout the entire broadcast. From the signs to the chants to Pat McAfee amping the crowd, it had to be one of the best pregame experiences this season.

One viral moment featured longtime college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit, leaving the "College GameDay" set early to make it in time for the Red River Rivalry matchup between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners.

ESPN aired the 55-year-old sports analyst riding in the back of a white convertible with a microphone to share his takes and opinions on his way to a private jet. Unfortunately, it was difficult to hear Herbstreit due to the win.

Shortly after the "College GameDay" broadcast ended, Herbstreit shared a reaction to his ride in the convertible car. While updating fans, he was flying over Salt Lake City, Utah, the famed sports analyst questioned whose decision it was to make him ride in a convertible to begin with.

"It was cold as hell on that drive. Who ordered the convertible?!? Whatever it takes to get to the Red River Rivalry in Dallas with a 3:30 P.M. Eastern kickoff. First time I've ever left mid-show to hope to make it to the game I'm calling. Currently over Salt Lake City-closing in on the Cotton Bowl for Oklahoma and Texas."

Herbstreit is easily one of the most busy sports analysts in the industry. On top of working "College GameDay," he'll typically fly to a whole different location just to announce that game. That's on top of working alongside Al Michaels for "Thursday Night Football."

So, for Herbstreit, this is nothing new. However, this is the first time we've gotten to follow along with him on his journey to a different location.

After playing quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 1989 to 1993, Herbstreit became a sports broadcaster for ESPN in 1996. He began "College GameDay" with Lee Corso and has become one of the most prominent names in college football.
