Alabama Message Boards Are Melting Down Following Disappointing First Half Performance

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions for Alabama Crimson Tide fans.

In Week 5, the Tide defeated the previously second-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, 41-34. After that win, Alabama fans felt on top of the world as their team improved its record to 4-0.

New head coach Kalen DeBoer hadn't lost a game, and it appeared there wouldn't be a major dropoff in on-field production after the legendary Nick Saban retired this past offseason.

Just a week later, Alabama fell victim to one of the biggest upsets in SEC history, losing 40-35 to the Vanderbilt Commodores. Saban even commented on what he saw from his former team.

"I saw a little complacency, almost even arrogance, after the Georgia win," Saban said on ESPN's "College GameDay." "That creates a blatant disregard for doing what's right."

Now, in Week 7, Alabama held just a 14-12 lead at the half over the South Carolina Gamecocks (3-2). Alabama went up 14-0 in the second quarter before South Carolina scored a touchdown, got a safety and kicked a field goal.

These last two games have been tough for Tide fans, who are melting down on the Alabama message boards.

"Fire everyone .. Deboer too," one said.

"Wommack (defensive coordinator) is *******," another wrote.

"I'm done." added a fan. "Wake me up next season."

"Just lose and end this ******* season already," said another.

"Deboer is not it... he relys only in Milroe and nothing else," a fan added. "Just like he did at Washington on the QB. Recruits will see this.. we are being exposed."

"This team is complete trash on both sides of the ball," another said. "This is just unwatchable."

"let's go ahead and send the moving van to Deboer house," said a fan.
