Alabama Star Domani Jackson Assisted Off the Field With Injury Against South Carolina

UPDATE: Domani Jackson is available to return.

On a long and penalty-filled South Carolina drive in the second quarter, Alabama defensive back Domani Jackson went to make a tackle on the Gamecocks' LaNorris Sellers, to which he had to be assisted off the field and could not put any weight on his leg. He was helped to the medical tent for evaluation.

Following the turnover on downs on the same drive, which was officially recorded as a fumble recovered by Malachi Moore, the camera cut to Jackson being carted off of the field and into the locker room . It looks to be that freshman Jaylen Mbakwe, Zavier Mincey and DaShawn Jones will roatate in to serve that role for Jackson.

An update was issued as the second half was closing from the university that Jackson is questionable to return due to a lower-leg injury . As mentioned, Kane Wommack will now be adjusting defensive looks in the secondary to rotate other talent in to fill that role with Jackson out.
