The Red River Rivalry is one of the best college football contests on the calendar each and every year. It's a matchup that has been running since 1900 and they're set to kick off their 95th straight season of meeting.

Oklahoma and Texas have to meet halfway, and the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, TX, is split down the middle of the stadium between both fan bases. There is plenty of hatred between the two programs, which is what fuels one of the greatest college football rivalries of all time.

There's been plenty of memorable moments from the game in recent years. A couple of seasons ago, Texas came away victorious in a 49-0 blowout. Last year, Dillon Gabriel led the Sooners on a game-winning drive.

After last year's win, Oklahoma star linebacker Danny Stutsman went viral, claiming the Sooners only fear God, and Texas fears Oklahoma. That's been what the rivalry has remembered as for the past year, but that'll change on Saturday as a new game will be played.

When walking to the field for the first time, Stutsman had a flashy outfit on, sporting a gold "horns down" -- the staple hand signal for Sooners fans -- pendant on his gold chain.

The Longhorns enter the matchup as 17-point favorites, which is quite steep for a rivalry game. Still, the No. 1-ranked program should have their way against No. 18-ranked Oklahoma.

For these two programs, this game is the Super Bowl. Now that both Oklahoma and Texas have joined the SEC, this game means even more with regular season implications.

The game is the first of a slate that provides two powerhouse conference matchups. Following OU and Texas, No. 3 Oregon will host No. 2 Ohio State in a Big Ten matchup.
