Oregon Ducks fans brought the heat on the "College GameDay" set early Saturday morning. They shared hilarious signs, yelled head-turning chants, and made a case for the best site in the nation for a college football pregame show.

During the broadcast, the Ducks' mascot, Puddles, made appearances throughout behind the panel. He conducted hilariously wild antics involving giving a random student a haircut on live television.

However, the mascot caught plenty of attention after shooting his shot at famed actress Sydney Sweeney. Puddles held up a sign reading, "Sydney Sweeney, call me back."

Shortly after the broadcast ended, the 27-year-old Euphoria star responded to Puddles' sign on her Instagram. Sweeney wrote to the Ducks' mascot, apologizing for having a new number.

    "Sorry. Changed my number, haha."

Typically, Sweeney doesn't respond to posts like this, as she's become one of the most talked about stars in Hollywood in recent years. But it's hilarious that the Oregon mascot was able to at least able to get her to respond!

Maybe she'll send her new number to the famed mascot. Many view the Oregon Duck as the best or most funny mascot in the nation. Perhaps she loves his sense of humor enough to give him a chance.

Jokes aside, the No. 3 ranked Ducks have a massive matchup against the No. 2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes. It's Oregon's first real test in the Big Ten since changing conferences this offseason.

Oregon's season got off to a slow start after struggling against Idaho and Boise State. But since then, they've looked fantastic. The Ducks have one of the best pass rushes in the nation and an electric offense averaging 44.21 points per game this season.

Head coach Dan Lanning seems to have his team in the right place at the right time. The Buckeyes are no joke, as they have an elite offense themselves led by true freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith. Heading into Saturday's contest, Ohio State is averaging 46.0 points per game this season.
