Jets Make Key Injury Move with QB Aaron Rodgers vs. Bills

The New York Jets will host the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football at MetLife Stadium this week. Gang Green is trying to get their season back on track after the firing of coach Robert Saleh earlier this week. ... And four-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers - who tossed three interceptions in their loss last week, including a pick-six that was ultimately the difference in the game - is in the middle of the Week 6 news.

The offense has not been able to establish the run in the last few games, so getting the ball to Breece Hall and Braelon Allen is imperative. If those two backs can get going, it will open up the entire offense and keep the Jets out of third and long.

They have been behind the chains most of the last two games which has led to stalled drives. This is the week they need to put it all back together against a tough Bills team who is reeling themselves. Good news? QB Rodgers (ankle) has been moved off the injury report and good to go Monday night.

For Buffalo, protecting Josh Allen and receivers getting open is going to be their biggest goal. The hitch in that plan is that they are going against two of the top five rated corners in the league through the first five games.

This is shaping up to be a true AFC East battle, and the winner claims the top spot in the division.

When things start going real bad his ankle will get bad again. Instead of taking some time off to really heal, instead he would rather be the big man and play no matter what happens to the team.
