Travis Hunter's Fiancée Had A Lot To Say Before Colorado-Kansas State

To cap off Week 7 of the 2024 college football season, Travis Hunter and the Colorado Buffaloes will take on the No. 18 Kansas State Wildcats at 10:15 p.m. ET at Folsom Field.

For the entire season, Hunter, the star wide receiver/defensive back hybrid, has been a favorite to win the Heisman trophy. Through five games, the 6-foot-1 Junior out of Suwanee, Georgia, has recorded 46 catches for 561 yards and six touchdowns. Not to mention his two interceptions and a game-sealing forced fumble against Baylor a few weeks ago.

Hours before the Colorado-KSU battle, Hunter's fiancée, Leanna Lenee, made a video post on TikTok that is nearly ten minutes long. She started by revealing how she met Hunter while she was in college and he was in high school.

"I met [Hunter] in college," Lenee said. "He was in high school. I was in the middle of outgrowing partying, but I still partied a lot... He would literally drive me and sit outside for hours while I was inside partying and then take us home... He never tried to change me. He let me do me."

Lenee then went on to discuss how well Hunter has treated her since they first met, mentioning some of her previous toxic traits in the process.

"The next reason how I knew my fiancée was the one is that he is so patient," Lenee said. "When I met Travis, I met him at a time of my life where I hated men... So he was really patient with me in every sense... I was very toxic, had a lot of toxic traits, and Travis was very patient with me."

Lenee (22) met Hunter when she was 19 years old. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's degree in 2022. It only took her two years for her to finish her four-year degree.

Hunter and Lenee started dating in Feb. 2022. Two years later, the couple got engaged in Feb. 2024.

Going into the Kansas State game, the Buffaloes, under second-year head coach Deion Sanders, have started 4-1 and 2-0 in the Big 12. The Wildcats will be Colorado's biggest test of the season, being the only ranked team Coach Prime and company have faced.
