Shilo Sanders Going Viral for Getting Ankles Broken in Colorado-Kansas State Game

The Colorado Buffaloes went on a bit of a hot streak after the team was blown out in its Week 2 game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

After losing 28-10, the Buffs went on to win three straight games before the team's Week 7 meeting with the No. 18 Kansas State. While the defense had dramatically improved over the past few weeks, it had done so without starting safety Shilo Sanders, who injured his arm in the Week 2 loss.

The sixth-year senior who started his career at South Carolina returned on Saturday, but it hasn't been smooth sailing by any means. Sanders has been at the center of much social media scrutiny for missing tackles and poor coverage.

However, there is one play that is making its rounds on social media the most, as Kansas State running back DJ Giddens juked Sanders out so hard that he fell to his knees.

It happens to just about everyone in football at one point or another, but being the son of Deion Sanders, of course, brings more light to your mistakes. The video posted by ESPN surpassed 100,000 views in less than 20 minutes.

Needless to say, Sanders is a bit rusty after missing three games. On the bright side, his younger brother and quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, made history. Shedeur broke Colorado's record for consecutive passes completed in a game with 16.

The Sanders brothers are looking to lead the charge for a late comeback after trailing by 10 points heading into the fourth quarter.
