In a game that is the perfect way to end a spectacular Week 7 college football slate, the No. 18 Kansas State Wildcats took a trip to Boulder to take on the Colorado Buffaloes.

With stars like Kevin Durant, John Wall and Russell Westbrook all over the sidelines, the Buffs have a chance to not only pull off an upset but to make a statement. One player in particular who made a statement about his individual play is Colorado star quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

The projected first-round pick was completing passes at a historic pace, setting a program record with 16 consecutive completions, as reported by 247Sports ' Adam Munsterteiger. Sanders began the streak with 8:48 left in the first quarter, and it wasn't until 5:33 remained in the third quarter that his next incomplete pass occurred.

It is also worth noting that the pass that ended the streak was a drop by receiver Will Sheppard, who actually dropped Sanders' first Hail Mary attempt against Baylor. Sanders went on to connect with Sheppard two plays later for a touchdown.

Sanders continues to show just how accurate and dangerous he is with the ball in his hands, as he threw for two touchdowns by the time the fourth quarter rolled around.
