Coach Prime is not afraid to publicly call out a player if he feels they did not perform their job well.

Tonight, the head coach, television announcers, and numerous commentators on social media were all pointing the finger at Shilo Sanders.

The senior safety finished with seven tackles, but it was the missed tackles that received the most attention.

After the game, Deion Sanders did not hold back on his assessment of Shilo’s performance. “I thought he played horrible,” Sanders said.

“I thought he was rusty. I thought he didn't have his footing. I thought he wasn’t coming up trying to make the play but open field, one on one tackle, with that kind of back, that ain't an easy task. But, he's gonna do better. I know what he has in him.”

While Shilo struggled, Shedeur Sanders nearly pulled off another epic come back despite the team being riddled with injuries to Travis Hunter, Omarion Miller, Jimmy Horn Jr., and others.

Shedeur ended the night with 388 yards passing and three touchdowns.

The 4-2 Colorado Buffaloes will look to bounce back next Saturday when they travel to Tucson to take on the 3-3 Arizona Wildcats. Kickoff is schedule for 4:00 p.m. ET.
