Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens hosted the Washington Commanders in Week 6, securing a 30-23 victory.

While a major storyline in the Sunday matchup was the Ravens winning their fourth straight game after starting the season 0-2, much of the attention was on the battle between signal callers.

Two elite quarterbacks, Jackson and Commanders’ rookie Jayden Daniels, went head-to-head for the first time ever.

Daniels entered the league as a Heisman-winning quarterback with the LSU Tigers, being known for his dual-threat ability, much like Jackson when he was drafted out of Louisville in 2018.

The NFL posted a video of the two exchanging words after the game, attaching a message that said, "Heck of a battle today."

While Daniels suffered the loss to Jackson and the Ravens, he’s been one of the biggest storylines in the NFL this season, helping the Commanders be a true threat for the NFC championship.

In the loss to the Ravens, Daniels posted two touchdowns and 269 yards, completing 24-of-35 pass attempts. He also added 22 yards on six carries.

Jackson ended the matchup with one touchdown and 323 yards, completing 20-of-26 pass attempts while earning 40 yards on the ground.

With the loss, the Commanders fell to 4-2 on the season, while Baltimore advanced to 4-2. Washington snapped a four-game win streak after falling to the Ravens in Week 6, previously defeating the Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants.

Washington will have a chance to bounce back in Week 7 when they take on the 1-4 Carolina Panthers, where they will likely be the favorite.
