"It's time for us to have an honest conversation about this," Josh Pate said, leading off his live Sunday Late Kick Show.

"The Big Ten's loudest stadium is in Eugene, Oregon. This place was out of its mind last night."

Pate attended Saturday night's instant classic between #4 Ohio State and #2 Oregon as part of his "Once Upon A Saturday" Tour, and after having a sideline perspective of Autzen Stadium in full throttle, he's convinced that it's the loudest environment in the conference.

"I am blessed enough to have stood on the field for the biggest games in all these environments, and I was there last night."

In the Late Kick host's well-traveled experience, Autzen is louder than a Penn State White Out, louder than Iowa at Nebraska, louder than Jump Around, louder than the Big House or the Horseshoe. Those stadiums have seats for 30,000 more bodies, but they don't have the combination of acoustics and frenzied energy that make Oregon's home the place dreams go to die.
