Jordan Love Matches Packers Legend Brett Favre With Impressive Feat Not Seen Since 1995

The Green Bay Packers took care of business at Lambeau Field on Sunday with a sterling 34-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals, pushing their record to 4-2 on the season as they managed to keep pace with the also victorious Detroit Lions in the NFC North.

The game was punctuated by outstanding quarterback play from Jordan Love, who completed 22 of 32 passes for 258 yards, four touchdowns, and an interception in the Packers' big home win.

Love appears to be embracing every inch of territory that comes with being the face of one of the NFL's most storied franchises. He honored Packers legend Brett Favre last month by wearing his jersey on his way to a game after Favre's Parkinson's Disease diagnosis was announced.

On Sunday, he also matched Favre with a statistical feat that few saw coming, considering the explosive and productive nature of Favre's time with the storied franchise.

Love's four-touchdown performance marked the first time a Packers quarterback has thrown for four touchdowns or more in consecutive home games since Favre did it back in 1995 with coach Mike Holmgren's team.

Love now ranks second in the NFL in touchdown passes with 12, tied with Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Burrow, despite missing two games due to an MCL injury, and three behind the Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield for first in the National Football League.

Matt LaFleur's Packers will welcome CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans to town next week with a 1 p.m. kickoff at Lambeau.
