Micah Parsons Makes His Opinion of Aidan Hutchinson Clear After Gruesome Injury

The Detroit Lions walked into AT&T Stadium and made a statement with a 47-9 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6.

Unfortunately, there were concerns for the Lions after star pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson had to be carted off the field and later underwent surgery due to a broken tibia.

It was a very gruesome injury for Hutchinson, who came into the game as the NFL's sacks leader and had one in the game before suffering the injury.

Many showed their support and sent their prayers for Hutchinson after the injury. Lions head coach Dan Campbell also spoke about the injury , saying, "So that's tough, man. It's hard when you lose somebody like him."

Another player who sent their support to Hutchinson was Cowboys star Micah Parsons, who also made clear his opinion of the emerging Lions defensive star.

"Praying for Hutchinson man was the best player on the field all year!!," Parsons wrote on X. "Hope he gets a speedy recovery!!! #Godspeed!!"

It's quite the claim from Parsons, who is one of the best defensive players in the NFL year after year.

Hutchinson was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft, and he has lived up to the hype in just a couple of seasons in the league.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network even mentioned that Hutchinson would've been a Defensive Player of the Year candidate, so there is no denying the talent he brings to the field.

Nonetheless, Parsons calling him the "best player on the field all year" is a huge vote of confidence.
