The No. 13 LSU Tigers took down the No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels in an overtime thriller at Tiger Stadium on Saturday night.

Tigers quarterback Garrett Nussmeier led his team to victory behind 337 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions on 22/51 passing, out-dueling Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart to notch a 29-26 win in OT.

Trailing 23-16 with less than a minute remaining in regulation, the Tigers mounted a game-tying touchdown drive. Ole Miss got the ball to begin overtime, but LSU was able to hold Lane Kiffin's squad to a field goal.

Nussmeier and the LSU offense responded by delivering a game-winning touchdown pass to wide receiver Kyren Lacy.

Tiger Stadium erupted with excitement as fans poured out of the stands and stormed the field.

The SEC announced a $250,000 fine for Louisiana State University for violation of the conference's field-storming policy on Sunday. The first offense results in a $100,000 fine, but this is the school's second offense since the policy was revised at SEC Spring Meetings in 2023.

"The Southeastern Conference announced today that Louisiana State University will be fined for violation of the league’s access to competition area policy due to fans entering the field following its football game vs. the University of Mississippi on October 12," the SEC wrote in a statement on Sunday.

"LSU will incur a fine of $250,000 for a second offense under the league’s current access to competition area policy that was revised at the SEC Spring Meetings in 2023."

LSU isn't the only SEC school to be hit with field-storming fines this season. Last weekend, Vanderbilt and Arkansas were both fined for field-storming incidents after wins over Alabama and Tennessee.
