Damonic Williams reacts to that emotional Texas loss

Oklahoma’s Damonic Williams spoke to the media after the game about the emotional response to this loss and if the team can turn it around.

How do you think the team's going to respond to a loss this emotional?

Damonic: Us being Oklahoma, there is only one way to respond. We’ve got to get right, go over the film and it won't happen again. A loss like this should never happen to Oklahoma and it happened tonight. I mean we just blame it on us because we didn’t get it right.

Are you convinced that this team is going to be able to turn it around?

Damonic: Yes, no doubt. We’ve been in this position before. We need to just go out there and play our game one play at a time. I feel like we were just trying to make too many plays at once and we kind of forgot that it was one play at a time offense and one snap at a time defense. I feel like this is going to make us tighter, this loss right here will make us tighter as a brotherhood and as a football team.

Do games like this feel like the most physical game of the year?

Damonic: Definitely, it held a different type of value in my eyes because I came here for a reason and this was one of the reasons why I came here. I feel like honestly we just beat ourselves but I give respect and everything to that team in Austin.
