While the Buffalo Bills jumped out to a strong 3-0 start this season, there's serious concern over the team following two consecutive brutal losses. Heading into their AFC East showdown against the New York Jets on Oct. 14, Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Co. are desperate for a win.

If the Bills can defeat the Jets in the Meadowlands on Monday Night Football, Buffalo can retain the top spot in the division.

One day before the primetime matchup, Allen and his girlfriend, Hailee Steinfeld, supported the Bills star's teammate by attending the first annual Shakir Family Pet Adoption Event in Buffalo.

Hosted by wide receiver Khalil Shakir and his wife, Sayler Shakir, numerous Bills players attended the event, and several adorable videos of Allen holding a puppy went viral.

While fans were excited to see Allen and the Oscar-nominated actress attend the event at Resurgence Brewing Company, a rumor started to circle about the couple afterward.

An aggregator account on X posted one of the videos from the event and claimed that Allen and Steinfeld adopted a puppy at the event, which would be a major move in the couple's relationship.

Allen used to share a dog, Skyy, with his ex-girlfriend, Brittany Williams. However, based on Williams' posts on Instagram, she kept the dog following their breakup in April 2023.

While Steinfeld has two dogs, Martini and Brando, there's no proof that the "Pitch Perfect" star and Allen left the adoption event with a new puppy. There's video that shows the 28-year-old quarterback FaceTiming with a prospective adopter's mom to convince her to take home the same puppy Allen held earlier.

New dog or not, Allen and Steinfeld's relationship is going strong. When Buffalo takes on New York on Monday night, fans hope to catch a glimpse of "Love Myself" cheering for the Bills.
