As always, Erin Andrews provided excellent coverage for Fox Sports on Sunday. The Week 6 matchup between the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas was what was on the docket for the 46-year-old reporter, which resulted in an eye-opening 47-9 blowout win in favor of the Lions.

After the game, Andrews was able to get a hold of Detroit running back David Montgomery who turned in an amazing performance for the away team. The former Iowa State star made 12 catches on the day for 80 yards and two touchdowns as he helped the Lions decimate the Cowboys in Dallas.

In his post-game interview, however, Montgomery just had to shout out his teammate Aidan Hutchinson, who suffered a fractured left tibia and fibula during the game. According to Montgomery, the star defensive end is "definitely the heartbeat of our team" and losing him to what is expected to be a lengthy injury spell is a "big loss" for the squad.

On Monday, Andrews shared a clip of the interview on X (formerly Twitter) along with some high praise for Montgomery.

"David Montgomery is a classy guy..and one hell of a player," Andrews tweeted.

As Montgomery stated, Hutchinson is a "warrior" and the whole team expects him to be back as strong as ever as soon as he is able to recover from the injury and the subsequent surgery he had to undergo.

In the meantime, Montgomery and Co. will need to hold down the fort amid the absence of one of the most important players on their squad. The 4-1 Lions return to action on Sunday for a Week 7 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

These women on the sideline serve no purpose other than to check a box. It's funny they added these women for sex appeal and now with the new political correctness world they are stuck with aging women such as Pam Oliver on payroll and can't get rid of them
