Spurs to Travel to Take on Miami

The San Antonio Spurs are looking to make it three straight preseason wins on Tuesday as they prepare to take on the Miami Heat. Miami has only played two preseason games and split the pair. The Spurs are 2-1 in the preseason, with their only loss coming against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Gregg Popovich predicted that Victor Wembanyama would suit up and play in each of the last two preseason games. So far, he has only played against the Orlando Magic. Some fans, mostly in southern Florida, believe Bam Adebayo is still a better defender than Wembanyama. Tonight, he will aim to prove them wrong.

Here's everything you need to know before tipoff, including what channel the game is on, injury reports for both teams and betting odds, courtesy of FanDuel.

Last season, the Spurs lost both matchups against the Heat. Adebayo averaged 22 points in those two games, compared to Wembanyama's 18 points. However, both of those games were before the All-Star break before Wembanyama hit his stride, so the Heat haven't seen the latest version of "The Alien."

Adebayo and company should expect something closer to his Olympic performance than his early rookie season output, and assuming he plays at least 20 minutes, he should leave a significant impact on the game.
