Robert Griffin III Shares Stunning Reaction to Davante Adams' Trade to the Jets

The trade of the season occurred Monday morning when the Las Vegas Raiders parted ways with star wide receiver Davante Adams , sending him to the New York Jets . In exchange, the Raiders received a conditional third-round pick that could escalate to a second-rounder based on performance.

The NFL world erupted with reactions to this monumental trade, reuniting Adams with his former quarterback Aaron Rodgers , with whom he formed one of the league's most dynamic duos during their time in Green Bay.

Longtime NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III also weighed in, sharing his thoughts on what could be a season-changing move for the Jets.

"Davante Adams traded to the Jets. Aaron Rodgers gets his force multiplier back. This was the only move that could inject life back into the Jets season and they made it happen. WOW." Griffin posted.

Time was clearly running out for Davante Adams in Las Vegas, and it became increasingly evident. After being ruled week-to-week with a hamstring injury, it seemed unlikely he would play again before a potential move—and that's exactly what happened.

Following the firing of head coach Robert Saleh last week, the Jets, coming off a loss to the Buffalo Bills under interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich , made a bold move for a playmaker.

This season, in three games, Adams has tallied 18 receptions, 209 yards, one touchdown, and is averaging 11.6 yards per reception.

This decision clearly signals that owner Woody Johnson is all-in on Aaron Rodgers and is determined to compete for a Super Bowl while vying for dominance in the AFC East that they haven't had in well over a decade.
