The Michigan Wolverines remain in Big Ten contention, and the team is also a major part of the latest college football rumors. Michigan has their sights set on landing a big fish, and it appears the Wolverines are trending in the right direction to do just that.

Michigan has a strong chance to sign one of the top remaining recruits in the 2025 class. On3.com has Michigan as the new favorite to land a star offensive lineman.

The Stanford Cardinal were the previous favorites to sign five-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola. Now, On3 predicts Michigan will land Babalola giving the Wolverines a 63.7% chance to add the No. 17 rated prospect of 2025, per the site's Industry Rankings .

By comparison, Stanford dropped down to having a 27.3% chance to sign Babalola. On3.com's Steve Wiltfong detailed why Michigan is the new favorites to land the five-star.

"As a decision draws near here in October for Babalola, I’ve moved my On3 RPM [prediction] from the Cardinal to the Maize and Blue," Wiltfong wrote on Oct. 14.

"With what Michigan stands for on the field and in the classroom, the track record of success with offensive linemen and his comfort level around the school, I like the Wolverines’ chances. I’ve felt like Stanford has faded this fall and I’ve put my pick on a the program I think has the best chance to land Babalola."

Whatever program lands Babalola should be prepared to help the offensive lineman ink a lucrative NIL deal. On3 projects Babalola's NIL value to be $683,000.
