Patrick Mahomes Confirms Taylor Swift Rumor

Patrick Mahomes has had a chance to get to know Taylor Swift well over the past year or so since the pop megastar started dating his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce. During this time, Mahomes has learned a lot about the "Fortnight" singer, and the reigning Super Bowl MVP recently confirmed one particular rumor about Swift.

Swift has also gotten close to Mahomes' family. Apart from becoming close friends with the star quarterback's wife Brittany Mahomes, the 34-year-old recording artist has also been able to bond with Mahomes' kids.

In a recent interview on 96.5 The Fan, the six-time Pro Bowl QB revealed that his three-year-old daughter Sterling has had the chance to bake with Swift. Mahomes also confirmed that Swift is indeed quite the whiz when it comes to baking.

“She’s made different treats that have been around my house, like muffins and donuts and stuff like that," Mahomes said. "Sterling’s a big baker as well, so they make some stuff together sometimes. I’m not gonna say I don’t eat them. She’s as good as everyone’s talked about. She’s great as far as it comes to baking.”

More than a few celebrities have raved about Swift's skills in the kitchen. In fact, she reportedly even baked pop tarts for the Chiefs linesmen when she first started going out with Kelce.

Apparently, the pop tarts were so good that Pop-Tarts the brand printed a full-page ad in a local Kansas City newspaper requesting for Swift's recipe.

"We hear you have a Pop-Tarts pastry recipe,” the company wrote. “We’re tortured not knowing more about this DIY delight. What’s the filling? Does it have frosting? Do they have little holes?"

For his part, Patrick Mahomes has had the chance to prove this rumor about Swift first-hand, and it is clear that the Chiefs star has not only confirmed the same but he's also been left impressed with Taylor Swift's baking skills.
