Colorado standout Travis Hunter is undeniably a generational talent, serving as the heart and soul of the Buffaloes for the past two seasons under Deion Sanders . Alongside fellow standout Shedeur Sanders , both are projected as first-round picks in the upcoming NFL Draft .

Hunter's unique athleticism allows him to excel on both sides of the ball, making him a coveted prospect as a first-round talent at both wide receiver and cornerback—an astonishing feat.

In a recent appearance on Robert Griffin III and his wife’s podcast, " Outta Pocket with RG3 ," Hunter confidently stated his case for being the first overall pick in the NFL Draft.

"Whoever the first team on the board, that's where I wanna go," Hunter said. "Nobody does what I do. It's just that simple. I know a lot of people try to hate on me; I’ve been humble for too long."

Travis Hunter recently left the game against Kansas State due to a shoulder injury, but it’s not expected to be serious, and he’s on track to play this week.

The Buffaloes are just two wins away from bowl eligibility, but their sights are set even higher after a promising 4-2 start. They aim to compete for the Big 12 championship, a goal that seems attainable given their talent.

This season, Hunter has excelled at wide receiver, recording 49 receptions for 587 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 12.0 yards per catch. His commitment is impressive, as he plays in over 90% of the Buffaloes' snaps, showcasing his value to the team.
