It did not take long before Stephen Curry treated the fans with a sensational play in Tuesday's highly-anticipated exhibition showdown between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers. Curry just had to remind everyone out there why he is the GOAT shooter.

The former back-to-back NBA MVP found himself with a bit of room around four minutes into Tuesday's preseason contest against LeBron James and Co. Lakers guard Austin Reaves was caught in a screen while Rui Hachimura was a bit late on his contest. This resulted in the Warriors superstar busting out his trademark look-away trey.

The NBA shared the clip on X, and it comes as no surprise that the post is already going viral.

As always, all Curry needs is a little bit of time and space for him to get his shot off. The Lakers were at fault here, and he made sure to make them pay.

Curry knew that his shot was going in almost as soon as it left his hand, which prompted his trademark look-away move even before the ball hit the bottom of the net.

The Warriors are looking to keep their four-game preseason winning streak alive against the Lakers here. These two teams go at it again in a rematch on Thursday at the Chase Center.

That will be Curry and Co.'s last game before their regular season starts on Oct. 23.
