Timberwolves broadcast schedule unveiled

The Minnesota Timberwolves broadcast schedule for the upcoming season was officially released Wednesday, just six days before the start of the new NBA season.

Once again, the majority of Timberwolves games will be televised on Bally Sports North, but all regular-season games will be broadcast on regional or national TV.

A total of 73 Timberwolves regular-season games in the 2024-25 season will be shown on Bally Sports North. The organization says all games on the network will also be streamed on the Bally Sports app and Bally Sports+.

Wolves TV broadcasts will again feature Michael Grady as the play-by-play announcer, veteran color analyst Jim Petersen and sideline reporters Katie Storm and Lea B. Olsen. Marney Gellner will host “Wolves Live” with analysts Rebekkah Brunson and Kevin Lynch.

The RSN’s coverage will start on Oct. 24 for Minnesota at Sacramento, as the Wolves’ season-opener will be on TNT two days earlier. That will be one of 25 nationally televised games for the Timberwolves this season.

KFAN and iHeartMedia, which took over as the club’s radio flagship last season, will again broadcast every Wolves game on the Timberwolves and iHeartRadio apps. Alan Horton returns for his 18th season as the radio play-by-play announcer with Cal Soderquist as the studio host.

Along with game broadcasts, KFAN will continue to provide several other Wolves segments, including weekly appearances by head coach Chris Finch, guard Mike Conley and Gellner.
