The New York Knicks enter the 2024 season as favorites among the entire NBA to not just compete for the top seed in the Eastern Conference but to win a championship.

New faces to the organization have added a sense of dominance and pride that wasn't there before.

The question remains whether New York can rise to those high expectations and play dominant basketball throughout the season. If the early preseason slate is any indication, though, the Knicks are going to be just fine this season.

New York won their fourth straight preseason contest to begin the scrimmage slate of the year by a final score of 111-105 over the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday.

While none of New York's projected starters saw playing time during the win on Tuesday, the bench of the team - a perceived strength going into the year - continued their own successful approach.

Whether it was 18 points from Miles McBride or 17 offensive rebounds as a team, the identity of the Knicks is secure not just as a group that has plenty of star power.

They are one of the deepest teams in the league this year.

    And they know it.

It's why the organization should be perfectly fine moving into the regular season even with an undefeated preseason to match.
