No. 1 Texas will host No. 5 Georgia on Saturday evening at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

The highly-anticipated matchup is viewed as one of the biggest games of the 2024 season. It's one that will have significant SEC title and College Playoff implications. A loss by Georgia could essentially push the Bulldogs out of playoff contention, while a win from Texas will feel like the Longhorns are a lock to reach the playoff.

On Wednesday, ESPN's Paul Finebaum and Heather Dinich predicted which team will be victorious in this massive SEC matchup.

"I'd go with Texas," Finebaum said. "Even though Georgia has played a more competitive schedule, they beat Clemson handily, they played Alabama to a one-score game in Tuscaloosa, but I don’t like the vibes. Carson Beck hasn’t had a lot of support. The defense has really let Kirby Smart down.”

Dinich feels confident in the Longhorns as well, citing Georgia's rushing attack as a primary reason. "I’m going to go with Texas too, because of the depth in that quarterback room, and Georgia’s inability to run the ball,” Dinich said.

Texas is currently considered the 5-point favorite over Georgia. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT on Oct. 19.
