Angel Reese Has 1-Word Reaction to Sabrina Ionescu's Game Winner

Sabrina Ionescu hit the biggest shot of her career on Wednesday night, knocking down a three-pointer to win Game 3 of the WNBA Finals over the Minnesota Lynx, a game the Liberty trailed by as many as 15 points before rallying in the second half.

Angel Reese, budding WNBA star, responded to her viral shot with just one word.

"Sheeshhhhhhhh," she tweeted on Oct. 16 . And she's not the only athlete to take to X (formerly known as Twitter) to acknowledge Ionescu's game-winner.

Suns star and NBA champion Kevin Durant chimed in, writing "Cold blooded killer," in a tweet of his own . Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic added " What a shot. " Ionescu's WNBA colleague and Chicago Sky guard Kahleah Copper simply wrote "SAB."

Ionescu said after the win that the game-winner is all a blur.

"I didn't even really remember it -- I had to go look at the video to see how far I was," Ionescu told reporters postgame on Oct. 16 . "But in the timeout, Sandy was just like, 'You're gonna shoot this shot.' I was able to get some separation in range, and I let the shot go."

Ionescu is the WNBA's best three-point shooter. And she won't let anyone forget it. New York is up 2-1 over Minnesota in the WNBA Finals, thanks to the former first overall pick. They'll stay out West for Game 4, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 18.
