Before the tip-off of the New York Liberty-Minnesota Lynx game, fans were treated to a heartwarming sight: Napheesa Collier sharing a sweet moment with her daughter, Mila.

The touching scene, captured courtside, showcased the mother-daughter bond—a moment that resonated deeply with fans.

The WNBA’s Instagram account posted a video of the moment with the caption, “It’s not enough of Mila to go around 🥰 Mommy and daughter moment between Napheesa Collier and Mila pregame and some love from the @minnesotalynx players.”

In an interview last year, Collier explained that her daughter gives her purpose and joy, especially when Mila interacts with her teammates.

“It’s awesome to see her pre-game interacting with my teammates. That’s been so fun for me—to see the way they love her and the way she loves them back. She’s growing up being supported by 12 really strong women and 144 collectively in the W,” she said .

Napheesa Collier has also had an incredible season this 2024, earning her second consecutive First Team All-WNBA selection on Wednesday. She’s now the fourth Lynx player to receive this honor at least twice, joining Maya Moore, Lindsay Whalen and Katie Smith.

As a four-time All-Star and the Western Conference Player of the Month in August, Collier has led the Lynx to an impressive season. They advanced to the Finals after eliminating the Phoenix Mercury and Connecticut Sun, setting up a thrilling conclusion to their season.
