ESPN college football analyst Greg McElroy recently dropped his "Always College Football" podcast, previewing the Week 8 slate.

McElroy shared his thoughts on some of the week's biggest games, including No. 1 Texas versus No. 5 Alabama, No. 7 Alabama versus No. 11 Tennessee, and No. 6 Miami versus Louisville.

After revealing his opinion for those big-time matchups, McElroy focused his discussion on the game between the No. 16 Indiana Hoosiers and unranked Nebraska Cornhuskers.

The Cornhuskers are heading into the matchup as a 6.5-point underdog . Despite the spread, McElroy believes Nebraska can pull off the upset over the Hoosiers.

McElroy thinks Nebraska's defense will cause fits for Indiana and ultimately be the difference maker in Week 8.

"I like Nebraska to get the job done," McElroy said . "I just don't know if Indiana's offense has seen a defense quite like this... I think Nebraska's more battle tested and I think they get the job done."

Nebraska comes into the game with a 5-1 record, looking to hand Indiana its first loss of the season as they stand at 6-0. The Cornhuskers' only loss came against the Illinois Fighting Illini, 31-24 in overtime.

Nebraska's defense has been phenomenal all season, giving up an average of 7.4 points per game with the exclusion of the loss to the Fighting Illini.

The Cornhuskers are also fresh off a bye week, so their defense should come into the game with high intensity. In their latest matchup, a 14-7 win over Rutgers, the Cornhuskers forced two interceptions and held the Scarlet Knights to converting on just 2-of-14 third-down conversions.

While Indiana's offense has fared well behind quarterback Kurtis Rourke, who's posted 14 touchdowns and 1,752 yards with just two interceptions on the year, McElroy says Nebraska's defense may bring a different element to the game that the Hoosiers are unprepared for.

Texas plays Georgia. I don't think Alabama wants to play two games the same day.
