Bills Get One Weapon Back but Lose Another in Practice Thursday

The Buffalo Bills will look to begin a new win streak when they travel to face the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Buffalo was able to snap their two-game losing streak on Monday night against the New York Jets, extending their lead in the AFC East. A huge reason for the win was the performance of rookie running back Ray Davis.

With starter James Cook inactive with a toe injury, Davis was the Bills' lead back for the game. He finished the night with 97 rushing yards and 55 receiving yards, making him the team's leading rusher and receiver.

However, now it seems that his status for Sunday could be in jeopardy, as he was added to the Bills' injury report on Thursday with a calf injury. Davis was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, meaning he likely sustained the injury during Thursday.

It's currently unclear how severe the injury is, so Friday's injury report will be a huge indicator of whether or not Davis will be ready to go on Sunday.

In positive news, Cook was a full participant on Thursday after previously being limited, which means that he should be able to play on Sunday.

While having both Cook and Davis active on Sunday would create a formidable rushing duo, just getting Cook back is still good news for the Bills, especially since he had been performing well as Buffalo's main option at running back prior to his injury.
